A Revival... Sort of...

This is not the first incarnation of this site. The original was slightly uglier -- but much more functional -- right up until the disk in my Mac Mini died. At that point it disappeared off the face of the planet.

That was over a year ago.

Well, I finally got around to fixing it, and I'm not happy with the results. See, I don't have a server handy at the moment, and I don't want to pay much for hosting, and I was in a hurry... Long story short, it's on dotster, and I can now officially say that I don't recommend their hosting for anyone who wants an actual, working site that needs anything better than PHP4. It really is that bad!

If anyone has any recommendations, let me know. I'm mostly interested in hosted email; I already have another idea in mind to take care of the web portion, but it will take some time to set up. In the mean time, I'm putting things here that I think people will find most relevant. Don't expect this message to update often since it's a static page, not a blog platform. That will likely change when I get everything set up.

In the mean time, I hope you enjoy my latest "guilty pleasure" project. For those who are looking for mod_auth_chimera, it will be back, as soon as I have a host where I can stuff Trac and Subversion installs, which might be a while. Drop me a line if you're truly desperate and I might be willing to send you a tarball... :-)

P.S.: For the moment I can't bring myself to fix up this page any further. Maybe later when I haven't spent so much time fighting with the machine it's hosted on...
